Dan Seltzer was elected President and CEO in 2006 and has over 30 years of industry experience. He began working in the family business as a teenager, and throughout his college years. He then invested one year in London "running slips" for a brokerage firm at Lloyd's of London. His training continued with Commercial Union Insurance Company in Harrisburg, New York, Boston, and Philadelphia. As president, Dan focuses on external aspects of the firm, client and business development, our community, strategic alliances and "home office" relations with insurance carriers. He is responsible for developing and implementing the strategic vision of Cohen-Seltzer. Dan is an expert at identifying unique risks across a spectrum of industries and has crafted unique policy language to provide the greatest protection for clients. Dan serves on several boards and devotes time to many nonprofit organizations including the Anti Defamation League, The Franklin Institute, The National Liberty Museum, and The American Interfaith Institute. He serves as a member of the Financial Advisory Committee for Congressman Jim Gerlach, and participates in annual legislative summits at the Congressional level in Washington, DC.

John has been a member of the Cohen-Seltzer family since 1979, and has over 35 years of experience in the insurance industry. As a member of the Executive Committee, he is an integral part of implementing the overall vision of the firm, as well as managing all internal day-to-day operations of the company including finance, personnel, management systems, claims and most importantly, directing our customer service units to ensure the satisfaction of our clients. John specializes in evaluating and managing the unique risks associated with large, dynamic companies. As an advocate for the industry, he has devoted time to many organizations and has previously served as the Chairman of the Jonathan Trumbell Association, and is a past member of the producer advisory councils for many insurance companies, including Pennsylvania Manufacturers Association Insurance Company, Home Insurance Company, Crum and Forster Insurance Company, Kemper Insurance Company, and Zurich Insurance Company.

Steve joined the Cohen-Seltzer team in 2007 with a focus on professional liability and the unique intricacies of executive risk exposures. He maintains responsibility for fostering the growth and development of the agency's relationships with clients and prospects. Prior to joining Cohen-Seltzer, Steve was CFO of a large service organization which was a client of the firm for more than 15 years. Steve is active in the Philadelphia community, serving on several boards: The Philadelphia Building Owners Labor Relations, The Philadelphia Chapter of the Turnaround Management Association, and Art Reach. He is a management trustee of SEIU 32 BJ District 36 Benefits Fund and is a member of the Association for Corporate Growth.
