Getting the Facts Straight

We were working with a prospective client on placing his Auto coverage.  In the course of obtaining coverage we discovered that his quoted premiums were higher than expected due to an at-fault accedent that was showing up in his loss history.We presented this information to the prospective client.  He shared that the accident in question was not his fault.  We helped him obtain a letter from his prior carrier that expressed that this was a no-fault accident.  We convinced the underwriter to accept the letter as proof that the accident was not our propect's fault.  The underwriter then revised his premium to a much lower rate after removing the charge for an at-fault accident.  Our new client was happy to have his driving record corrected, and also happy to  be paying a lower premium.

Auto Accidents Don't Mean the End of Coverage

Due to the high number of auto claims in recent years, some auto carriers are often non-renewing auto policies with two or more claims in the previous three years.  One of our clients was non-renewed with a major carrier for having six claims in three years.  Not all of the accidents were the fault of our client.  We were able to move our client's coverage to another major carrier for a premium not much more than what they had been paying.  There was no interruption in coverage and our client appreciated the way we made sure that they could continue to drive with an affordable insurance premium.

Moving Quickly on a Cancelled Account

Our client was in the process of moving and was late in paying the premium on an account that contained several policies.  Their insurance carrier would not reinstate the policies even after the insured made a payment of premium due to several claims that had occurred.  Once again with our ability to place coverage with multiple contracts, we were able to place coverage for all the policies, even with our client's large claim history.  Our client was relieved to have coverage and was happy with how efficiently we handled to process.
