Going the Extra Mile for Flood Insurance

A client had placed her primary homeowners and auto policies with us but had her beach home written through a different agency.  In reviewing her policies we discovered that her primary flood coverage at her heach home had been allowed to lapse.  Coverage needed to be placed immediately and photographs of the front and rear of the home were required for a policy to be generated.  Unfortunately our client was unable to get to her beach home to take the required photos when the lapse was discovered.

We immediately hopped in the car and drove over 100 miles each way to take the photos of her home.  We then rushed to submit her application and generated a flood insurance policy quote that would protect her property.  The client was relieved to have the issue behind her and appreciated our literally going the extra mile to insure that her property was protected.

Finding Flood Placement After Two Losses

A client had a flood policy in the national flood program.  Their policy was a preferred flood policy due to the flood zone that they lived in.  Due to 2 flood losses within a few years, this client's flood policy was non-renewed which was of great concern to her.

We relied on our experience to get her home rated with a standard flood policy without any interruption in flood coverage.  Our client was able to rest easy knowing that her home was insured against a loss and that coverage was placed so quickly.
