COSEL Power Supply, Noise Filter 2025 Product Catalog

AC-DC Power Supplies Power Module TypeInstruction Manual1 Connection for Standard Use2 Wiring Input/Output Pin!To use TUXS series, connection shown in Fig.1.1 and externalcomponents are required.!This product uses conduction cooling method (e.g. heat radiationfrom the aluminum base plate to the attached heat sink).Reference:“Derating”2.1 Wiring input pin(1) F1 : External fuse!Fuse is not built-in on input side. In order to protect the unit, installthe slow-blow type fuse on input side (as shown in Table 2.1).AC INF1NoiseFilterFGCYHeatsinkTH1AC1C1C2CY+CbcAC2BCR+BCTUXS-BC FG+VOUT-VOUT+CoLoadTable 2.1 Recommended fuse (Slow-blow type)No.ModelRated current1TUXS150F5A2TUXS200F6.3A(2) C1 : External Capacitor for input sideFig.1.1 Connection for standard useTable 1.1 External componentsNo. SymbolComponentsReference1F1Input fuse2.1“Wiring input pin (1)”2C1Input Capacitor2.1“Wiring input pin (2)”2.1“Wiring input pin (3)”5TH1Inrush current protection thermistor2.1“Wiring input pin (4)”6CoOutput capacitor2.2“Wiring output pin (1)”7CbcSmoothing Capacitor for boost voltage 2.3“Wiring +BC/-BC pins (1)”8C2Capacitor for boost voltage2.3“Wiring +BC/-BC pins (2)”!Install a fi lm capacitor as input capacitor C1 of which the capacitanceand ripple current capability are above the values shown inTable 2.2.!Use a safety approved capacitor with 250V ac rated voltage.!If C1 is not connected, it may cause the failure of the power supplyor external components.Table 2.2 Input Capacitor C1No.ModelVoltageCapacitanceRated ripplecurrent1TUXSAC250V1μF or more1A or more(3) CY : Noise fi lter/Decoupling capacitor! The product doesn’t have noise fi lter internally. Please connect external noise filter and primary decoupling capacitorCY for low line noise and stable operation of the power supply.!The operation of the power supply may be unstable due to theresonance of the fi lter or inductance.!Install a correspondence filter, if it is required to meet a noisestandard or if the surge voltage may be applied to the unit.!When the total capacitance of the primary decoupling capacitor ismore than 8800pF, the nominal value in the specifi cation may notbe met by the Hi-Pot test between input and output. A capacitorshould be installed between output and FG.(4) TH1 : Inrush current limiting thermistorTUXS-9!It has a possibility that internal components fail by inrush current,so please use power thermistor or inrush current limiting circuit tokeep input current below 60A.!If you use power thermistor and turn the power ON/OFF repeatedlywithin a short period of time, please have enough intervalsso that a power supply cools down before being turned on. Andappropriate intervals should be set even if inrush current limitingcircuit except power thermistor is used.!The output voltage may become unstable at low temperature dueto the ESR of power thermistor. In this case, increase the capacitanceof Cbc more than recommended value or connect samecapacitors in parallel. Please evaluate before use.
