Q&A(FAQ) How long is the storage limitation?
Regarding storage and using the power supply after long-term storage, please note the following:
The storage period for an unused power supply is 2 years.
This is because the aluminum electrolytic capacitors have a recommended storage limit defined by their manufacturers.
If voltage is applied to the power supply, it can be used even after long storage due to the reforming (voltage application process) of the capacitor. The re-forming time is about 1 hour.
If the power supply is stored for more than 2 years (including after use), the characteristics of the capacitors may deteriorate. In such cases, we recommend performing an inspection before use.
Please store the power supply at normal temperature and humidity, and avoid high temperature, high humidity, and direct sunlight.
