Mid- to Long-Term Corporate Strategy and Key Management Issues
The business environment surrounding the COSEL Group continues to change rapidly due to the advancement of globalization and digitalization, the global movement toward decarbonization aimed at mitigating climate-related risks, and the technological innovations arising from these trends.
Viewing these changes in market conditions and the business environment as opportunities, we will contribute to a sustainable society by delivering value that meets the diversifying needs of our customers.
In our 10th Mid-Term Business Plan (a three-year plan launched in fiscal 2023), we have set forth the vision of ”To create customer-centric, higher-value products and services that meet customer needs and to become an essential part of a smart-energy society.” In line with this vision, we are implementing the following three key strategies:
- 1.Achieve appropriate profitability and strengthen cost management
- 2.Increase the ratio of new products in total sales
- 3.Strengthen our business in Europe
Through these initiatives, the COSEL Group aims to achieve the following management targets set forth in the 10th Mid-Term Business Plan:
- Consolidated operating profit margin: 15% or higher
- Consolidated ROE (Return on Equity): 10%
