Modification Products
About modified products
To meet various requirements that cannot be supported by standard models, certain modifications can be made.
Example of modification
Constant current setting for battery charging
Modification to constant current power supply by changing overcurrent protection function.
Stable output voltage during input voltage dip
Modification to extend the hold-up time.
Improves environmental resistance
Component protection using silicone rubber and conformal coating.
Improvement against vibration stress
Improved with silicone rubber.
Automatic recovery from protection function
Modification of the protection circuit to enable automatic recovery.
Lower leakage current
Modification of the ground capacitor.
Example of the digital control modification for the power supply
Updates to the digital control program allow the implementation of additional functions that are impractical to achieve using only analog circuitry.
Examples of modifications available for the PCA600F model include:
Reduce abnormal high current.
Auto shift of overcurrent protection (OCP) point level.

Failure identification by multiple alarms from digital signal outputs.
see moreReduce standby power.
Auto sleep function to reduce standby power.

- Only projects considered suitable for mass production are accepted.
- Depending on the product or the modification details, we may decline the request, or a minimum order quantity or longer lead time may be required.
Example:When the basic specifications or external size changes are proposed. - Compliance with safety standards may be lost depending on the requested changes.
If safety certification is required, a new application will be necessary, and the application fee may be charged to the customer. - The model name will include an additional alphabetic code such as “‑X□□□,” which corresponds to each customer’s company name.
Example: Model name: PDA50F-5-XCSL
“-XCSL” indicates a special modified model for COSEL.
